LAKE HOUSE, at Hyderabad, Telangana, designed by Collective Project, is a private retreat designed as a space for entertaining, and as a respite from urban life. Located on a steeply sloped and rocky site overlooking the Durgam Cheruvu Lake in Hyderabad, the property is embedded in the heart of the city while still feeling completely removed.

Cochin Creative Collective ~ Originally built as a working class residence set in the rural outskirts of Thiruvalla amongst sugar cane farms. The 1990 house is a typical single floor, flat concrete slab house, 9 grid in plan where private rooms are arranged around a central hall. Arched openings, plain plastered walls, sloped shading slabs and centrally placed identical windows comprises its exteriors, a typical house found in the state of Kerala even today.
Cochin Creative Collective were asked to produce a design for the house which would better satisfy the client’s needs both in terms of aesthetic and requirement.

The design for Garuda Logistics was developed keeping in mind the office space for the young team. Different zones of the office are partitioned in a way to achieve transparency and a sense of openness, at the same time maintaining privacy. This open office design also allows natural light to reach deeper areas and create controlled visual connections between outside and inside to bring dynamics of the outdoors in the space.
