Team Echo, composed of 2nd and 3rd-year students from School of Architecture Planning & Design, DIT University, and Dehradun Institute of Technology University, was the winner of the Construction Worker Housing Division. The team worked on the conceptual and prototype model of Construction Worker Housing for the 200 Bedded Hospital site.
Winner of the Single-Family Housing Division was Team Zenith from Arvindbhai Patel Institute of Environmental Design, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, CEPT University, Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture, and Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. The project ensures that all five senses of humans are attended to by optimising thermal comfort, indoor air quality, and sensory comfort.
Team synergy, consisting of 15 students from Sir J.J. College of Architecture and Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, emerged as the winner of the Multi-Family Housing division. The project focused on flexibility, connection to nature, symbiotic relationships with the environment, and achieving net-zero goals.
Traversing terrains – Tata Myst Housing, Kasauli by Mobile Offices, are luxury weekend homes on the scenic hills of Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh. The brief was to create a retreat for the city dwellers with privacy, while providing common recreational facilities.
The Oranje castle, by Archohm is a housing project on which Archohm collaborated with the globally-renowned Dutch architectural firm MVRDV. The 7 acre site is situated in one of the upcoming areas of Lucknow, just off the Amar Shaheed path, which is the main artery connecting the city to its Airport.
SomepIace in Manali by Put Your Hands Together – The project at Manali is a homestay called, – Someplace and we got a chance to work on this through Noel, my former student. Eventually he also became the on-site architect for this project. When Areen visited the site in November 2016, all he could see was a piece of land covered thigh-high in snow keeping the visit aside, all he could think about was that warm bed back in the hotel where he would rather be tucked in at that time. This exact feeling of longing for the warmth became the concept of our design.

Transient Housing for Truck Drivers in Sarjapur, Rajasthan by RC Architects – Transient housing is an attempt to create a place for the truck drivers’ community to feel at home when they are away from their homes, a place for them to relax – rejuvenate – recreate.
The brief for Between Spaces Architects, was to design small studio sized apartments that could be looked at as a venue for investment or an alternate home away from home for shorter durations. The project was conceptualized primarily to target the second home buyers for temporary, occasional or intermittent stay in Goa.
This Residence is what defines truly Indoor-outdoor relationship. The house, designed in barabanki in 2015 caters to the love that our clients have for nature. They wanted an abode that connects all the spaces with nature and has beautiful views of their extensive collection of different plants. The lower floor houses a big hall overlooking the front garden and 2 rooms overlooking the rear Banyan tree. – Advance Group
Plotting scheme for at Nal Village designed for Naveen Bhai is a master planning project where various amenities like club house, artificial lakes, road network, children play area etc. are dealt with. A grand opening and beautiful landscape marks the major attraction of this project. The planning was done by segmenting the area into different zones as public, semi public and private and linking each to other by the concept of spatial porosity.
