From conceptualization to installation, the company goes the extra mile by offering design consultancy and crafting custom made products to make ‘dream homes’. The collection offers from designer sofas to an array of luxury beds, bars, tables and more.
If one could define this state-of-the-art project by Urban Zen, magnum opus is the only definition for it. Sprawling over 22,000 sq. ft., this home built for a very special client who is just 32, is a celebration of his astounding success. How does a 4200-square-foot plot in the heart of the City became a dream home for a family of four? The answer lies somewhere within the eclectic residence of Mr. Ajay Ghei who is a merchant and shares the dwelling with his wife and two daughters. This is a five-bedroom haven, with its well-defined form confronting a modern twist, shows how we achieved the vision. Required for a family of 4, the house is built in a 3400sqft area in Palakkad, Kerala. It is a simple cantilevered structure, with the material and finish as the main highlight of the building. The Paliam family patriarchs were hereditary prime ministers to the erstwhile Kingdom of Cochin, Kerala. Today the ancestral home and palace of this family is a heritage complex about an hour’s drive from the city of Cochin. The client who got a small parcel of 160 sqm in the family partition decided to build a vacation home on it. – Meister Varma Architects
Nestled in the backdrop of a metropolis, the Floating Walls Residence, by Crest Architects, promises an escape from the city life. The plot for this house sits in a densely populated locality. The major concern was finding an intimate space in the crowd and arriving at a visually engaging structure amidst the chaotic background. The client’s brief called for a simple and spacious Vaastu compliant house for a family of five.
