The Mokslateitis (Lithuanian for ‘Future-Science’) is conceived as a temple of pioneering human endeavours, not just as ethnicities, but rather as a species with the highest impact on this planet. The intent clearly establishes the grand all-encompassing nature of science as a framework to comprehend what is unknown to us. Opening the visitor to this sense of wonder is the biggest mission of Mosklateitis.

Unbuilt Architectural Project – Flexi-Scraper, at Mumbai – by Hexagramm Design and Angshuman Das

It all starts with the Japanese origami magic ball; folded from a paper into a grid of squares – with two cross-diagonals each – the generated ‘skin’ has a unique property – it is malleable. The same skin with exactly the same of unit squares generates a variety of forms: a cylinder, a spindle, a revolved hyperboloid, a sphere, and also a disc. This is made possible by the unique geometry of the ‘skin’.

Unbuilt Project – Blueberry House at Mangalore, by GDKDesigns – Girish Dariyav Karnawat

Blueberry House at Mangalore by GDKDesigns: The project called for a design of a private residence located on Blueberry hills in Mangalore. It was for a joint family comprising of mother, two sons with their respective families. An additional housing was required for staff of 20 people and parking for 10 cars. Strict adherence to vastu was a requirement. The scope of work was limited to preliminary design and to furnish a set of working drawings. The time taken to complete was 6 months only.

Its well-known for its fine quality marble mining globally. The plot is located on a sloping gradient of a hillock. The plot is flanked with streets on three sides.

Epsilon House at Bangalore: The project was a closed design competition amongst five firms that were called for a design of a private residence located in Bangalore. It was for a Nuclear family of five with parents. Strict adherence to vastu was a requirement. First sheet indicates the Vaastu criterias. The scope of work was limited to initial schematic design proposal to be delivered within 3-4 weeks.
