Nested in the beautiful landscape of Udaipur, Amar Villa, Udaipur, by Studio Symbiosis , proposal is based on capturing the breath-taking views of the surroundings, respecting the natural topography whereby the form evolves from contour mapping.
VERTO, by Studio Symbosis is a 360-degree multi-directional air purification tower with the ability to clean 600000 cubic meters of air per day. The name VERTO is derived from the word “turn”.
ID origins is a mixed-used revitalization project, designed by Studio Symbiosis, using undulating calligraphic strokes which seamlessly integrate the old and new.
In this project, the aim was to create green urban living, to rekindle the relationship of the residents with nature in their immediate surroundings. The villa emerged from the landscape, with the central theme being creating maximum green cover on site and utilize the views of the park facing the site. Built and landscape blend into each other, with indoor spaces opening into the green seamlessly.
Established in 2010, the firm has received several awards and accolades since then. The firm has been involved in varied ranges of projects including villas, hotels, sports city, masterplan and other projects of various scales. Their design philosophy is to create integrated design solutions imbibing amalgamated, efficient, robust and sustainable designs leading to performative architecture.
Studio Symbiosis, the architecture firm led by Amit Gupta and Britta Knobel Gupta, has won the international design competitions for two railways stations in India – Bangalore (Baiyappanahalli) train station along with Masterplan, and Gwalior Railway Station.
