The brief was to create a home enclosing all the necessary elements for a young couple. The plot area was 408 sqft. Based on the area, the first priority was given to space efficiency at the micro level as much possible.
The house was designed for a textile businessman from Rajasthan whose family spans three generations. The design brief consisted of three luxurious bedrooms, ample living spaces, entertainment and service areas.
The 30’X40’ site located in a growing residential area and flanked by dense multi dwellings on three sides, has a road to the West thus creating a design challenge.- White Shadows Design Studio
RSDA is a multidisciplinary design firm delivering architecture, interior design and strategic services across India. The Leaf house is a private residence of a Multigenerational family of six adults and two kids, located in a newly developed residential colony of the city. Site is a flat rectangular piece of land with 50 feet of frontage and 120 feet in depth, having its approach from east. – Span Architects

Profile of the resident of the house, nuclear mid-aged family with child studying abroad, but loves to entertain guests. So, the public areas of leisure are extremely joyful with splashes of colors. Their only inclination was to have spectacular bright living spaces. – The ART Container
Designed as a duplex for a family of three, Sangwan House sits quaintly at a corner plot in Delhi’s Karala Village, translating the client’s vision of having a small house but plenty of open space and green. It’s one of Habitat Design Collective’s (HDeCO) low-cost residential projects and has been designed and completed in INR 30 Lac (USD 43,500).

The stirring proposal of Highway Bridge Restaurant was conceptualized by Parag Singal Architects. The idea is to build restaurants over National Highways that can be accessed from both sides of the road. Located on the center of the highway, it is almost impossible for the restaurant to go unnoticed by the motorists. It offers more visibility to the restaurant and makes it easier for the traveler to spot a place for refreshment, hence creating a win-win situation. – Parag Singal Architects
Built across an enormous 3500 square feet, this stellar project exemplifies the vocabularies of big, bold, and beautiful in and out of the ordinary fashion. Designed by Ar. Abhigyan Neogi, Principal Architect & Founder- Chromed Design Studio, this residence is a concoction of design styles fusing one into another and consequently delivering an intricate space. Located in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi this phenomenal residence follows a contemporary design style typically offset by neutral colors. It is a modern interpretation of Indian dwellings that melds historic elements with current lifestyle concepts. The splendid abode is an eclectic mix of the new & the old replete with the use of vintage décor. – Chromed Design Studio
Nestled amidst a sprawling plot, this residence is designed such that minimal heat could penetrate inside but at the same time maximum natural light and ventilation floods the interior spaces. The site nests in the outskirts from the main city, in a developing residential area, with the north-east, southeast & south -west side abutting the road.
The flying walls hostel project was commissioned to us by a company intending to provide their workers with a living space that promotes community living and wellbeing. The site is located on the outskirts of the city of Rajkot in a developing area with educational, industrial and hospitality buildings coming up. Despite the development, the site’s location provides unending views of the agricultural, grazing lands and the horizon.
Traditional Kerala homes are rich in memories; of the long-forgotten smell of the first rain, the sound of raindrops falling in the courtyard, people sitting and conversing around it, the feeling of the warmth of mud walls and wood, the coziness of spaces; one may find him or herself drifting into their nostalgic memories of yesteryears every once in a while. – Finder Studio
The sprawling 20,000 sqft ground floor space along with an equal amount of basement had profound planning challenges. Various functionally contrasting spaces had to be carefully crafted so that they didn’t impede with each other’s function yet facilitate a meaningful circulation throughout the site. – Parag Singal Architects
