The concept behind the office was to build a luxurious, spacious, contemporary office which includes opens spaces, high ceilings, inflow of natural light and splashes of bright colors to create a soothing peaceful work environment. A relaxed comfortable and communicative work culture was the starting point for all the design concepts.
The ten thousand square foot beauty salon is a combination of mezzanine spaces (used for speciality treatments and offices) and double height purpose-built cabins interspersed with a series of glass planes with graphic motifs. The Focal Length by Renesa Architecture Design Interiors Studio has been conceptualized on the progressive composition of different elements and contrasting materiality. It is a marriage of customized optical objects removed from their original context and then combined with a purposeful concept to result in an art like installation gallery with a bold and minimal ideology to add to its existing organic legacy of The Maggo Optics.
It soon became apparent with the study that the only modular elements in the Store were the Machines themselves! And the changing nature of Store Profiles would engender requirements for differing forms of CID & ISW. Extending this concept to its extremity, the Machines were located in an Island [the Technical Zone] with the CID on one side and the ISW on the other.
The red carpet here actually sweeps you off your feet here at The Galeecha Experience Centre, where this eye-catching element tilts up to sinuously form a partition, a staircase and eventually a bridge that ties the varied products displays with a single dramatic gesture!
Built as an introverted vault, the solid sandstone façade makes a bold statement with an elegant surface detailing in gold steel. The entrance is marked by a delicately detailed 30 feet high glass door, allowing a glimpse inside generating curiosity. It opens into a reception area with a customised elliptical red glass elevator wrapped by the spiral staircase as an iconic centrepiece.
