SVAGRIHA, Simple Versatile Affordable Green rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment, was introduced last year by TERI (The Energy and Resource institute), to facilitate Green Ratings for buildings less than 2500 Sq.Ft. SVAGRIHA is an offshoot of GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) which majorly serves large spaces.

The office building for Green Spaces Realtors in Nashik, owned by Mr. Kiran Chavan and Tejas Chavan, is designed by Nashik Based Architect, Sanjay Patil (Environ Planners) and Ar. Poorva Keskar was consultant for Green Building Certification. The building is first in Maharashtra to receive SVAGRIHA certification from TERI. We will be posting more details about the building on ArchitectureLive! soon.
