A Paraphernalia Of Urban Narratives, by Agency Urbanism, fosters the Mananchira complex as an urban living room, drawing activities from the diverse programmatic milieu.
Samsristha Mananchira by DXD Architects design focuses on bringing a reciprocal relationship between the comtrust precinct and the city through reviving the dead and unused spaces while ensuring uninterrupted connection between the same.
Less Is More by Arun C Babu, Sreeram K Bhasi, conceives 3 major interventions- to repurpose the factory into a culture centre, to integrate the pond into the Mananchira park, and to connect both these premises with an access.
Live Collaborate Learn by Morphemy Architects, brings together the life of Kozhikode by adaptively reusing the Comtrust Weaving Factory. The focus is to merge the old with the new, by considering the local culture and economy of the place.
Pond Grove & The Fabric by Fictional project- a proposal made in the heart of Kozhikode has to be robust in accommodating its social nature. In the spirit of being united in the face of differences, the proposal has to bring in social spaces for interaction where people feel safe and a sense of belonging.

Verukal Design Studio’s design proposal- Collective Memory As A Tool To Revive The Mananchira Precinct, Kozhikode, hinges largely on the ‘collective memory’ of the Mananchira precinct, at the same time adapting to the newer notions of public space.
Resurrect by Studio 3 am, proposes a space where one can experience the glorious era of the weaving factory, when it was at its full pace.
Curated by Architect Syam Sreesylam, the Comtrust Weaving Factory Photography Exhibition was exhibited at the IIA Young Architects Festival 2022, held in Calicut and organized by the IIA Calicut Centre.
