Many practitioners and academicians in the field are working in the said area and there is immense volume of research, experience and case studies accumulated by them over their working years. With this in mind, we would like to invite papers/research and speakers from around the country to share their knowledge and experience with us and enrich the conference.

With keynote speeches and presentations from stalwarts in the field like Ar. Shashi Bhooshan, Ar. Manoj Kini and Ar Shikha Jain, we hope to provide a unique opportunity for in-depth technical discussions, interaction and exchange of ideas or research in vernacular architecture, also to explore the potential of their application in modern context.

Keeping the conference theme in mind, the area has been sub-divided into the following sub-themes:
1. Vernacular architecture and building practices
2. Historical lessons-Contemporary solutions
3. Traditional Space Planning
4. Material and construction technologies
5. Best practices and case studies
6. Traditional crafts and innovations.
