localground is an architecture practice based in Pune, India. The practice searches for an appropriate response to the places it works in, influenced by specific context, culture, environment and building technology. The studio has worked on a diverse range of projects with clients and organisations in the government, public and private sectors. Working with and for the social sector is integral to our practice. We work with local municipal corporations, government agencies, non-governmental organisations and individuals to further their social agendas. Current work includes buildings for education, retreat centres and private residences.
