The GVK led Navi Mumbai International Airport (P) Limited (NMIAL), appointed Zaha Hadid Architects  to design the Navi Mumbai International Airport’s Terminal 1 and ATC Tower. The London-based ZHA was selected on completion of a 12 week fast track design competition amongst the international architecture firms that were shortlisted by GVK.

The firm Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) was awarded the project after a 12-week design competition held by GVK.
The Airport will be designed in two phases. The first phase will be completed by tthe end of this year, and will have capacity to handle 10 million passengers per annum.
