Saboo Residence

Designed for a business family, this house characterizes responsible living in the urban context of a disappearing natural landscape. The contemporary language of interplaying volumes and terraces meets exposed stone and retained rock terrain. The house responds to a rich rockscape managing a large residence on a small footprint that hugs the surface of the site then rising forth boldly as contextual design.

Granite stairs at the entrance integrated with the existing granite rocks on site, bringing focus to the fact that the design is unapologetically organic yet bold. The family living areas open into a courtyard that brings together different volumes on either side of the lounge areas.
