Dwaipayan Chakravarty
Dwaipayan Chakravarty is an Architect and Urban Designer, who has been a pivotal part of VK:a architecture since early 2013. An alumnus of TVB School of Habitat Studies in Delhi and SPA (Delhi), he began his career in Kolkata with reputed master Architect Prabir Mitra, shifting to Pune in 2005. He worked with the Council of Architecture for a brief period. DC led significant master planning projects, including Nanded City and Life Republic, before joining VK:a architecture. DC is also deeply involved in academia. He has been one of the youngest members to be on the Council of Architecture’s Expert panel to evaluate the quality of education in Schools of Architecture in India, and commonly takes guest lectures and workshops in some of the leading Schools of Architecture of Pune like Brick, Aayojan, PVP-VIT, BKPS and BNCA. He is also an empanelled expert with the Savitribai Phule Pune University for Architectural theses. A man of diverse interests, Dwaipayan enjoys critical writing, having authored a book on Magarpatta City and maintaining a blog.
