Overview
We are looking for a Research and Communication Intern/ Associate with a foundational background in architecture, urban design, or urban planning. This role is designed for individuals passionate about the analytical, literary, and operational aspects of the built environment.
- For Interns: No prior professional experience is required.
- For Associates: A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
Job Description
The Research and Communication professional will work at the intersection of architectural content generation and project operations. The primary responsibilities include:
- Research on Architecture & Urbanism: Carrying out systematic research on critical issues, historic frameworks, and contemporary developments within architecture and urbanism.
- Digital Documentation: Structuring, archiving, and documenting all research findings cleanly and efficiently using appropriate collaborative tools, specifically Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
- Stakeholder Communication: Handling day-to-day professional communication and active correspondence with external participants, contributors, and the internal team.
- Project Coordination: Managing timelines and coordinating between various project stakeholders to ensure the timely and satisfactory delivery of all editorial and research objectives.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Educational Background: A degree or strong background in Architecture, Urban Design, or Urban Planning.
- Experience & Skill Breakdown:
- Associates: Must possess excellent, independent research skills alongside a minimum of one year of experience in a research, editorial, or coordinating capacity.
- Interns: While formal training will be provided on the job, candidates must be fully aware of basic research frameworks, structural writing, and standard documentation methods.
- Software Literacy: Proficiency in navigating and organising files in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and MS Office (Word, Excel).
