Helping Eagle - Old Age Home 1

In the Holy city of Puttaparthi and its environs, there are many elderly people who do not have a roof to sleep under. Helping Eagles, a charitable organisation from Germany, came forward to help the elderly homeless. The facility has two large hexagonal dormitories for men and women with attached toilets separated by a common dining hall. Attached to the dining hall are the kitchen, utility and stores. When executing works outside of Bangalore with contractors and engineers who have not used such materials and methods before, we derive much help from our Bangalore core of contractors and engineers. For this project, Biome partner contractors Sunil and Murali provided much help to the implementing contractor in terms of roof design and assisting in the making of blocks.
