This conference is a tribute to the memory of Charles Correa and is the third in a series of events the Foundation has held named ‘Buildings As Ideas’ – the first was in January, being one of four evening Celebrating Charles Correa; the second an Exhibition on Correa’s un-built work which opened in March, and this third event, the conference, will explore further what Correa believed – that buildings are ideas that manifest and take form.

The conference will begin with the first Charles Correa Memorial Lecture delivered on September 1, by Jean Pierre Crousse.

The program invites professionals and meritorious students to participate and attend the conference, which will be held in the Kala Academy in Panaji, Goa.
